I liked the idea of make the red knitted material into a kneck piece

I decided the dress was too long so i cut it so it was knee length and pinned it up.

the material was folded and sewn together to give a loop with a fringe effect.

i dyed the cream material bright red.

i cut out the back, including the zip and pinned it together.

I turned the dress back to front and cut off the collars and made a rounded kneck.
